I am lucky to work on some amazing feats of engineering every now and again.
Sometimes, they can appear somewhat mundane to the eye, but once you get inside the belly of the beast, you really do get to see how amazingly complex and technical buildings can be.
My husband and I are new 'bigs' to a delightful teeny wee human, we are in the middle of the fabulous tornado that is the world of new parents, and are figuring this stuff out as we go: one day at a time. I've gone from career to mum in a matter of days... I know I'm not the first to embark on mumhood, but I hope that by going though my babytism of fire that other new bigs will know they're not flying solo. To the experienced 'bigs' I will take advice and guidance from anyone as it takes a village xx I hope you will laugh and cry along with me one our way through our 'babytism of fire.' View more posts
